The Ellison Award was established in 2004 to recognize and honor an organization, business, or individual who has been extremely generous to the 500 and Farmington sports throughout the years.  It is named after Dr. William H Ellison who made the very first significant contribution to the 500 and that is the land where they still play baseball on Summer Street.
