The 1992 Farmington High grad starred in three sports, but it is in baseball where he left an indelible mark. His contributions to the school’s first Class M state baseball championship in 1991 as an All-State catcher were significant. He batted leadoff all four years, was a two-time captain and effectively handled a standout trio of pitchers (Aaron Hagar, Joey Vachon and Brian Ferland) that helped the Tigers ascend to the ‘91 title. “Blackie” was a ‘91 Coaches Award recipient, 1992 team MVP and a Foster’s Daily Democrat Dream Team pick. “Blackie and I were always in sync when I was on the mound,” said fellow inductee, Aaron Hagar. “We always knew each other's thoughts, which was the key to our success. I would rarely shake off a call that he produced. Blackie was always encouraging and never let me get down while on the mound. His positive and reassuring attitude started at the Little League level at the age of 6. This continued through both of our baseball careers — a span of 12 years.”  He played three years of varsity soccer, earning Foster’s Dream Team honors as a senior. He started on the basketball team as a senior earning the Coaches Award.  In 22 games as a senior he committed just 42 turnovers. Scott lives in Dover with his wife, Jessica, and their daughters, Jayden (18), Reagan (17) and Mollie (10). A 1996 graduate of San Francisco State University, he is co-owner of Winsor Brook Property Advisors of Dover.
