A tremendous three-sport athlete in the early 1990s, Aaron excelled on the golf links, basketball hardwood and baseball diamond. However, it was baseball that he is best remembered. He helped the Tigers win the school’s first baseball state title in 1991 in Class M as a pitcher and shortstop. He won two games in the tournament, no-hitting Newport in the first round, 2-1, and handcuffing Mascenic on two hits in the championship, 2-0, with 11 whiffs. In fact, the first 12 innings he pitched in the tournament, he did not allow a hit. He was named Class M First Team All-State as a senior in 1992. “No one on this team would be recognized if it wasn’t for him,” said Scott “Blackie” Smith, the team’s catcher and a fellow Hall of Fame inductee. “Sure we had lots of talent, but he was the one who gave everyone confidence. Usually every team has a superstar, I’m proud to call him ours.”  In basketball, he played in 65 varsity games, scoring 742 points with 491 rebounds and 179 assists. He was a three-year member of the varsity, helping them to a trio of tourney berths, including the Class M semis in 1990. A fine golfer, he led Tiger golf teams to the tournament in the early 1990s when they played as one of the top M schools in the highly competitive Class I-M-S with strong I teams from Hanover, Lebanon and Kingswood. His junior year the team went 24-8 and placed third in the tournament. They were 24-9 when he was a senior and took fifth. During his senior year, the Tigers had rare wins during the regular season over eventual champion Hanover and Kingswood. A plumber by trade, Aaron lives in Wolfeboro with his wife, Nicole. He has two daughters, Morgan and Lexi.
