Gary Noyes has been named the new head coach of the Farmington High School varsity baseball team and will lead the Tigers in their spring 2018 season.

Noyes, who is also the FHS varsity boys soccer head coach, brings a breadth of experience to the diamond for the Tigers. A 2007 New Hampshire Coaches Association Hall of Fame inductee, Noyes led Prospect Mountain High School to back-to-back Class M State Championships in 2007 and 2008 and guided Alton High School to the Class S title game in 1993 and 1996. The Alton, N.H. resident has garnered numerous accolades, including New Hampshire Baseball Coaches Association Coach of the Year and Foster's Daily Democrat Coach of the Year.

"We are very fortunate to have someone with Coach Noyes' experience and knowledge join our baseball coaching staff" said FHS Athletic Director Cheryl Peabody. "Our baseball team returns some talented young men with a great deal of potential and I'm confident that Coach Noyes' will bring out the best in each one of our student-athletes."
