Farmington junior Katie Martineau has been named the Granite State Conference South Girls Basketball Player of the Year. Martineau, the state's leading scorer, led the Tigers to a 17-3 record in 2017-18 and also eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau back on Dec. 28.

This award is voted on annually by Division IV coaches throughout the state and is given to the top D-IV south player in New Hampshire. Joining Katie on the all-conference team is Evelyn Carleton (Epping), Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale), Shelby Babin (Mascenic) and Reagan Jordan (Newmarket).

Congrats Katie!
