FARMINGTON

Coach: Dawn Weeks, 5th season

2016-17 result: 12-8, lost to Colebrook in Division IV quarterfinals

Top returning players: Kristina Radcliffe, Sr., F; Erryn Ebare, Sr., F; Katie Martineau, Jr., G; Tatyana Long, Jr., G; Shannon Kobbe, Jr., G/F

Other key players: Cynthia Langley, Sr., F; Kendra Demary, Sr., F; Brianna DiPrizio, Jr., F; Jill Stevens, So., G; Chloe Weeks, Fr., G/F

Outlook: The Tigers went meteorically from two wins two years ago to 12 last year and the program’s first playoff win in 20 years. Things should get even better. With a strong returning cast, led by All-State guard Martineau, Farmington could be in position to make a run for a final four spot. ... The addition of Stevens, a lightning quick sophomore guard, and coach Weeks’ versatile 5-foot-10 freshman daughter, Chloe, should strengthen the Tigers’ uptempo attack led by Martineau, Kobbe and Long. ... “I want to make it to Plymouth,” coach Weeks said. “I want them to experience that type of arena.” ... The Tigers won their opener last Friday at Lisbon, 55-30, led by 19 points from Martineau and a double-double debut from Chloe Weeks (17 points, 12 rebounds).
