The Farmington High School basketball season is on the horizon and fans will once again be treated to varsity doubleheaders for nearly all of the 2017-18 slate.

The Tigers hit the road for their season opener at Lisbon on Dec. 8 and it's a rematch of the girls first round NHIAA Division IV tournament game from a season ago, which saw FHS win 43-36 to advance to the quarterfinals. The Farmington boys then open the home portion of their slate versus Newmarket on Dec. 12, while the girls make their home debut on Dec. 20th versus Nute in game one of a varsity doubleheader.

The seacoast's longest running and the state's largest holiday tournament, the 39th Annual Mike Lee Holiday Basketball Bash returns to FHS on December 26-30. The open invitational basketball tournament, featuring 20 boys and girls teams and over 30 games, will once again offer contests, raffles and prizes.

On Jan. 19 the Tigers welcome Colebrook in a doubleheader that features a rematch of the girls quarterfinal pairing from a season ago. The Tigers will seek revenge against the Warriors as they ousted FHS from the state tourney.

Tickets for all regular-season home games are $3/adult and $2/children.
