A 1995 FHS graduate, Becky was an outstanding three-sport athlete who was known for her versatility and how hard she played. She played four years of varsity basketball at a multiple of positions, as well as four years on the varsity softball team, the last three years as a shortstop. She also ran cross country one year and then played volleyball for three seasons, filling a variety of positions for the Tigers.

Beckhy was one of those rare athletes whose reputation gave her name recognition before high school.  Her athleticism and skills were advanced for her age,” said her high school basketball coach Chwryl Peabody.  “Because she was so strong, even though she was young, she was a major contributor on her athletic teams.  As she got older, she became one of the most respected athletes in our division.

“She was a versatile player,” Peabody added. “She was the shooting guard, but she also played point, she played small forward and she played the power forward.  Her strength, aggressiveness, speed and tenacity made her quite the threat on the floor.  She was one of the shortest on the team, but she was certainly the highest rebounder on the team.”

Becky had a short stint playing for the women’s basketball team at Plymouth State University that ended when she broke her ankle.

She graduated from North East Institute Of Whole Health in 2000 and took classes at Manchester Community College. Becky owns and operates her own business – Strategic Body Relief. She lives in Merrimack with her wife, Melissa Graves, and their children – Sydney and Owen.
