A 2001 Farmington High School graduate, Jenn was a three-sport star for the Tigers (volleyball, basketball, softball). She went on to play four years of volleyball as a middle blocker at Western New England University in Springfield, Mass.

Jenn played three years of varsity in all three sports earning numerous postseason honors and serving as a team captain during her senior year in all three sports. At WNEU she received the Unsung Hero Award and was team captain as a senior.

While her athletic resume is impressive, her coaching record is more so. Jenn is the most successful volleyball coach in Farmington HS history. The volleyball program has made the playoffs every year since 1987, and Jenn’s tenure has only added to that rich legacy. During her 15 years at the helm (2006 to 2020) the Tigers made the playoffs every year, advanced to at least the semifinals 10 times, the championship five times and won the program’s only state championship in 2009.

Her team’s appearances in five state championships is the most by any Farmington HS coach – in any sport.

Jenn was named NHVCA Division III Coach of the Year twice (2009, 2011). She ended her career with a record of 220 wins and 61 losses (.723 winning percentage). The 2008 runner-up team won the most games in program history, going 19-3. The 2009 state titleist team finished with an 18-2 record.

Jenn coached her sister, Maria, on the 2009 team. Maria was later selected as the New Hampshire’s 2009 Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year – the only Farmington athlete to receive a Gatorade award.

Jenn is an assistant principal at Somersworth Middle School. She lives in Somersworth with her husband, Ben Spector.
