Bobbi was still in high school in the mid 1980s  when she started her lengthy service as a volunteer that continues to this day. She coached youth softball for nearly 10 years, stopping when her eldest son, Ryan, was due to be born. She remembers telling the girls that if she had a girl she’d be back that spring, but as luck would have it, she got a boy, and her husband, Doug, took the coaching reins over when the time came. He first role at the 500 would be team mom in 1999, and she did that until 2005 when she became treasurer, a position she currently holds. A life-long native of Farmington, Bobbi still lives in town with her Doug, her husband of 24 years. They have two grown sons, Ryan, 24, and Tanner, 19. She has worked in the telecommunications field for over 26 years.
